Dancing with the Arts

The Art of Sound
represents the beauty of
Sound Innovation

Crystal Audio collaborated with sculptor Ilirian Shima
to create a line of Sound Sculptures.

This line features not simple speakers but work of arts,
promoting thus Acoustics and the Art of Sculpting
simultaneously.

Lava suspends the speakers on free air using a massive ring made by volcanic lava. Lava achieves complete isolation from stand resonances, similar to the original ceiling suspension of Melody speaker.

The Melody speaker,
leaves a strong impression with its particular looks and
top sound performance.

The speaker inaugurated the company’s Art of Sound line of Sound Sculptures.

The second piece of this collection is the Ballad Subwoofer,
also the result of Crystal Audio’s collaboration with Ilirian Shima.

A radical look inspired by the musical instrument Bass,
Ballad subwoofer is specially designed
to complement the Melody speakers,
acoustically and aesthetically.

Both Melody speakers and Ballad subwoofer,
are the sculptor’s creations for Crystal Audio.

Harp subwoofer is the perfect match for Lava speakers.

Showing equally great respect for
all the forms of Art, even beyond Acoustics,
loudspeaker manufacturer Crystal Audio innovated
by sponsoring Ilirian Shima’s sculpting exhibition.

This collection includes fourteen of Ilirian Shima’s sculptures,
crafted on plywood, black and white marble, wood, stone and bronze.

The exhibition took place from May 29th and through to July 2nd of 2006,
by the Titanium Hall of Arts in Athens, Greece.
