Senior Wireless Headphones Engineer / Shenzhen
Responsibilities
Collaborate with our Contract Manufacturers in Shenzhen to oversee the development, testing, and validation of Active Noise Cancelling and Low Latency Gaming headphones
Work with Development and Production Engineers to manage and develop the Test Plans, track deliverables and communicate test progress to the product team.
Ensure the Production team follows all internal Test procedures and all Test Metrics are under target.
Create Work Instructions.
Follow the product Verification process.
Keep all Test equipment and software setup updated and verified.
Perform initial problem determination and diagnosis when issues arise, and track defects against those problems
Report and track defects, and provide status reports throughout product life.
Design and development of Audio DSP algorithms and software for audio products.
Use simulation tools to predict acoustic system behavior to correlate with manufacturing results
Participate in regular design critique sessions in which we review ongoing work and push each other to make everything better
Manage priorities and workload effectively to meet all deadlines
Set accurate estimates on delivery expectations and update the production team regularly
Regularly Report to engineers, product managers, and others regarding the products' development plan and field reports.
Manage the filing structure and archiving of all projects on OneDrive, ensuring files are up to date, clearly labeled, and easy to find
Manage samples Under Development and Golden samples.
Be willing to travel up to 50%, primarily in the southeast China region.
Ensure all projects meet the intended design and quality specs, and "it is Crystal Audio."
Key Qualifications
3+ years of experience developing high-performance wireless headphones
Experience specifying requirements for acoustic components, drivers, amplifiers, DSP
Able to apply the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) principles in the design and implementation of Audio DSP algorithms and software.
Experience with active noise cancellation technology
5+ years of experience in maintenance & support test equipment's in the electronic industry and development experience on audio-related products.
Proficient in acoustic test equipment from B&K, GRAS, Audio Precision, Listen Inc. (SoundCheck), and others.
Strong understanding of acoustic test and measurement systems and techniques
Solid understanding of headphone acoustic structures and enclosure/porting design
Degree in Acoustical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent (MS preferred)
Able to guide and mentor others on technical issues.
Ability to deliver across multiple creative projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experienced in setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures of product development cycles

Senior Acoustic & Loudspeakers Engineer / Guangzhou
Responsibilities
Lead effort to establish and maintain acoustic test infrastructure capabilities for polar response measurements
Provide engineering support to external Contract Manufacturers and ensure that they meet Crystal Audio guidelines.
